Dealing with Insurance Companies is hard: Guide to Easily Getting Connected to a Reliable Claim agent

Its hard getting into an accident with another car or multiple parties. If you don't know what to do after you've been in accident I am going to give you tips and ways to speak to higher up adjuster if you can't get to your adjuster quick, or if the insurance company won't return your calls.

Speaking of insurance companies, I myself have been in two accidents in the past month with the same insurance company. Both accidents were not my fault and from the great vine I have heard that this insurance company insures drivers that are high risk and cannot get anyone else to insure them. The two accidents were not my fault and they were both insured by the insurance company that insures risky drivers.

What to do when you get into a collision?

1. Make sure that you are okay, a quickly be alert.

2. The need for quick alertness is because you want to be able to respond if the person that hits you tries to drive away (hit and run). If they try to, drive up to them and try to get a snap of their license plates. Then you can follow this up with the police, and they will find the person for you.

3. If the person does not drive away, call the cops immediately because they have to send out a fire truck to make sure the car doesn't explode, and they have to call the ambulance to make sure that everyone is okay. They also have to send a patrol car out so that you can file a police report. The police report is very important. The police report is usually given to you at the scene hand written but if you want a printed copy you have to drive to the police station the next day.

4. Take Pictures with you camera phone, or keep a disposable in your car just in case

5. Call your insurance company as soon as you get home. The faster you call your insurance company the better.

6. *File all of your paper work so that you don't lose it just in-case there are serious injuries later on (hospital bills if you are seriously hurt).

How to get on the phone with a good claim agent

Claim agents and insurance companies are one in the same. They are nice, or hard to get on the phone with and rude. If you happen to get a rude claim agent that doesn't want to help. When you get on the phone don't dial the extension number wait for the operator and tell them that you refuse to speak to the claim agent that they gave you. This is a problem. When you complain about a claim agent and refuse to work with them they usually transfer you to the supervisor right away. The supervisor will than assure that maybe your claim agent had a bad day, or that you might have misunderstood them. They will than complete your case and they will treat you very well. Make sure to keep notes on everything.

How to stay organized when you have all of these letters/bills from the insurance company

1. Make a folder

2. Label it

3. Write the insurance companies on the inside of the folder and their selected claim number (all insurance companies give each case a different claim number, its not the police case number given)

4. Write down next to each insurance company the person you spoke to

5. Write down extensions and contact information

Good luck!
