Guide to Extra Magic Hour at Epcot, Walt Disney World

Epcot is one of the most popular parks at the Walt Disney World Resort and participates in the Extra Magic Hour program. Eligible guests have access to several attractions including Soarin', Mission:SPACE, The American Adventure and other Epcot favorites early in the morning and late at night, outside of regular park hours. Morning Extra Magic Hour at Epcot typically starts at 8 a.m. and runs for three hours after the scheduled closing time.

Eligibility for Extra Magic Hour at Epcot
Only guests who are staying at a Walt Disney World-owned resort and some other properties on the Walt Disney World Resort are eligible for access to Extra Magic Hour at Epcot. Extra Magic Hour benefits are available to guests of the Walt Disney World Dolphin, the Walt Disney World Swan resort, the Hilton Resort at Downtown Disney, and the Shades of Green. Guests must show their resort ID when entering the park to have access to Extra Magic Hour.

Extra Magic Hour at Epcot is only available on select dates of each month and during the holiday season. Unlike the other theme parks, Epcot Magic Hours are usually limited to just once per week during the summer months, and about six times during the Fall and winter season.
