Guide to Farmers Markets in Colorado

If you remember rightly, I wrote an article on growing produce for money. I really wasn't clear about where you can sell such produce. I wish I could've given out links to sites of specific companies. There are really not that many outlets for selling produce. When you've got a lot of produce at your disposal, I suppose the best place to go to sell your zucchini or pumpkins or tomatoes are at local farmers market. You can create your own. This will require filling out forms and paperwork, going through regulations and talking to a few people. It may be possible to set up a booth at a market that's already been established. That's something you might want to look into.

Here is a guide to all of the farmers markets here in Colorado. Any one of these locations should have good people selling good produce at good prices. To shop a farmers market, you'll need sun screen, because you could be walking around in the sun for quite a while. But, along the way, you might make a few new friends. Folks selling at local farmers markets can be the down-to-earth and friendly people you've ever come across.
