Where to Look for Answers to Your Parenting Questions

If you are a parent then I can almost guarantee at one time or another you have had questions about raising your child. Maybe it was a question about an illness or a discipline problem. If you always thought it would be great to have a place to look for answers to these questions then look no further then your computer.

There are several great websites devoted to parenting information. You can find answers to questions about children's illnesses or schooling issues you just have to know where to look .I will show you some great sites that will help you find information on your parenting questions. Lets start with information for all the new parents, you get your bundle of joy home and all of a sudden they are running a temperature or you can't figure out which diapers are the best. Here is a site to answer all the new parent questions, http://www.thenewparentsguide.com/, This site offers information on shopping for the baby products you need, everything from baby monitors to diaper bags. They also offer reviews for several items in each category. They provide a recall list to inform you of any baby products that could be unsafe and cause danger to your child. They offer articles dealing with how to choose the right doctor or what to do if your baby has diaper rash. There is a section on diapers both cloth and disposable, along with information on how to tell if your baby has colic and what to do about it. There are articles discussing your babies' development at different stages in their life, and how to make sure your home is safe for your new baby. They also offer information on breast-feeding and bottle-feeding, as well as many other topics you could have questions on for your newborn.

Next we will find sites that deal with the toddler years, you know the terrible two's and beyond. These years can bring about a whole new set of questions such as potty training, and dealing with tantrums. They have message boards where you can talk with other parents who are dealing with the same issues you are or they have already moved past this stage and can offer advice that worked for them. They also offer great information on your preschooler, you may have questions about them starting preschool or daycare. All of a sudden your child that would eat anything has decided they only want hot dogs for every meal. They have articles on immunizations your child will need for school and how to get your child to sleep in their own bed. They offer suggestions for winning the food war at meal times, and many other topics you might be concerned about.

They have articles going over what to expect each year and how to deal with problems that arise such as discipline, allowances, nutrition, school issues, and many others. http://www.scholastic.com/schoolage/ offers great articles on how to get your child to do their homework with major fights and how to make learning easier for them. They give recommendations for books for each age level, and activities for your child to do. If you are dealing with a preteen this site will offer great advice to help you,

This can be a very confusing time for the both of you .

They have articles discussing peer pressure, school issues, dating, how to talk to your teen, and many other issues facing teens today. Sometimes using message boards and talking with other parents can be a big help .It can let you know you are not the only one having these questions. Use your search engine and you will come up with many great parenting websites.

    Babycenter is wonderful! I've gotten weekly updates on my daughter's development since she was in utero..and now I am getting them for my new baby too.
