Guide to Firefox Mozilla Tabs System

DrD
The Firefox browser is not new, and many people are using this nice software to achieve a fast and well supported web browsing experience, but there is more to it than just the fun of web browsing, Firefox has some nice "bells and whistles" one of which this article will go into, moving TABS.

Accompanying this article is a graphic of the browser window with some writing on it, but, it's rather difficult to read, so, to facilitate that the author has placed it on the web at: [Ref 1] and it will show what is being discussed here. This is not new behavior, but sometimes we forget buzzers and whistles.

The tab setting on the Firefox browser allows you to right click on a link page in a browser and have that page open in a tab. Again a graphic of this is on the web at: [Ref 2] and this shows how the right click on a link brings up a sub menu window that allows for this opening in a new tab. The tab is the point.

As you can see in the graphic at TIP1 - Firefox will let you open a lot of tabs, these tabs are moved by a small arrow to the left or right of the screen, a graphic of which is at:[Ref 3] Firefox has many entertaining features, it appeals to me on the basis of good popup window blocking, very nice viewing and bookmarking, it's just an all around good browser. What sets it apart is its ability to customize your viewing and use. It is a great research tool because the tabbing system allows you to open many windows at once, to carry them where they will do you the most good, and to continue working.

Often my work as a writer means having many windows open, for some reason it seems to me that tabs work better, take up less memory and overall strain the system less. This may be just an opinion, and it may be only my system, these days with duo core technology speed is hardly ever an issue, but it seems to me that this browser provides a very fast feed. When coupled with the ability to lay information next to where its needed in the window without a whole lot of moving around, and you have a good research tool.

Very useful Dana - I wish I could use FireFox more, I tend to get errors with it and haven't really ventured to try to figure it out. Nice addition of the Refs too!
