Guide to Fort Worth Restaurants on West 7th
Neighborhood: Westside- 7th Ave.
Fort Worth, TX 76107
United States of America
Fort Worth, Texas' west side is a great place to get out for dining, shopping and nightlife. Right down 7th Avenue many attractions are located. For the last few years the old Montgomery Ward store has been remolded into apartment living quarters, and the area around it is known now as Montgomery Plaza. Road construction and a slew of new businesses have been opened here in the last six months. This is one part of town worth enjoying. Here below is my guide to five of the best eating spots on this street.

Movie Tavern
2872 Crockett St.
(682) 503-8100

This is place where you have a drink, diner or lunch and watch a movie at the same time. Their premier style of theatre includes reclining, over-sized seats, with waiter service, and a full bar. Specials for breakfast pancakes and a movie are offered for children on Saturdays. Choose from a regular menu of build your own pizza, wraps, burgers, and appetizers like fruit and cheese. Everything here is made fresh in their kitchen. Expect to pay under $20 for person for meal and show. Please contact to check for scheduling of showings.

Delaney's Pub
2973 W. 7th
(817) 289-2711

Delaney's is an Irish Pub style restaurant with gourmet food. The inside is decked out in deep wood deco. Also their flat screen TVs is a good site to go watch a ball game. The menu here ranges from fish and chips, fried pickles, pork chops, and pizza. Also pay under $20 per person.

Pei Wei Asian food
2600 W. 7th
(817) 806-9950

IS an Asian food restaurant, yet it is not like a full service. Walking in the door customers order from a line and then sit down to have waiter service. My favorite food here is the rice and noodle bowls, also inexpensive. Right now a special Korean bar-b-que dish is on sale for limited time only. Cost to eat here is $10- 20 per person.

Chuy's Mexican food
2401 W. 7th
(817) 332-2489

This is one of the newest restaurants in the neighborhood. It opened in November 2010. Their décor is the wildest accent a person may ever see in doors. (I have a full review of Chuy's available on my AC page.) The trunk full of nachos is a good happy hour party favor freebee. Expect to pay $10- 20 per person here.

MK Sushi
2901 W. 7th
(817) 306-0003

This Japanese restaurant offers all the amenities of a sushi bar and fresh made to order. The inside is brightly lit with open ceilings and refreshing to sit back in. Tempura, teriyaki, and many other favorites are sold here. Prices are under $20 per person.
