It is time for kids to start preparing their Valentine's Day cards. Instead of buying mass produced Valentine's Day cards for your kids to give classmates, family and friends, use my guide to free printable Valentine's Day cards for kids and let your kid make free printable Valentine's Day cards. Most are customizable and the selection is expansive so each person can receive an unique card.

A website that is worth its weight in gold is DLTK's Custom Greeting Cards. This website does more than just Valentine's Day cards but you will love the Valentine's Day card selections. The cards are built by making several choices including images, type of card, text, text size, color or black and white and many more. Do to the amount of choices, I think younger children or children unaccustomed to computer use should be helped by an adult.

Free Printable Valentine's has a nice variety of free printable Valentine's Day cards for kids. They offer 60 different free printable cards and customizable versions for $4.00. The free version needs to be downloaded and opened with Acrobat, then printed. This site could be used by almost any kid that has limited computer knowledge.

The Activity Village isn't to be ignored either if you are looking for girl Valentine's Day Cards. These thirteen cards have a pink, girlish look to them in several styles. These cards are mostly meant for specialty paper but regular paper can be used most times. However Valentine's Day cards to color can also be printed. Almost any child with some computer knowledge can use this site. Cards are downloaded and opened in Acrobat before printing.

Disney's Family Fun offers a cute selection of free printable Valentine's Day cards for kids. While there are only four color and four black and white cards for coloring, they are quality cards that most kids can print without any problem. The cards are downloaded and printed from Acrobat.

After you see the wide selection of free printable Valentine's Day cards for kids, you will wonder why you ever paid for generic mass produced Valentine's Day cards. The added plus to getting the Valentine's cards done this way is that the kids will be more interested in getting the chore done.

I suggest that you make sure to have plenty of printer ink and paper though. It would be horrendous to start printing and run out by the tenth card.
