Guide to Getting a Free Fax Number to Receive All the Faxes You Want!

Are you constantly being asked if you have a fax number? Do you wish that you could get a fax number, but it just costs too much, and you really don't need it that badly? Well today I'm going to walk you through the process of getting a FREE fax number for yourself so that you can receive all of the faxes you want, without limits at all. The only thing that you will not be able to do is send them out, but for a low cost this provider will allow you to do that.

Once you have finished the steps below you will have your new fax number which you can distribute to anyone you'd like. Instructions:

1. Open up an internet browser.
Note: You can use any browser that you'd like; a specific one is not required.

2. Type in http://www.j2.com in the URL search box at the top.

3. Once you get to the jConnect page, scroll down a little bit and look for the brown box that says "Get a 'receive only' account FREE!" and click on it.

4. That click will take you to a page called "Services." On this page you will be able to see what you're going to sign up for, and you will also be given the option to sign up for their premiere account. In order to get the FREE fax number, make sure to click on the last red button you see on the page which reads "Signup for jConnect Free."

5. Now you will be at the jConnect Free Registration page. Go ahead and fill out the information asked of you on this page. when you are done, select Submit.
Note: Nothing too personal is necessary to sign up.

6. Now you will be asked if you want to get a local number. Make sure to select the option that says you want to continue with your FREE signup, and hit Submit.

7. You have now finished the registration process and your new FREE fax number is waiting for you. Go ahead and go to your email, find the confirmation email that jConnect has sent you and click on the confirmation link. This will finalize your sign up, and you will be sent instructions by email on what to do next.
Note: You will be able to set a pin number so that you can check your fax messages by phone. You will also be given the option to view your faxes from anywhere through their website, and you can even print them out whenever and wherever you want.
