1. Right click anywhere on your desktop to bring up a small menu.
Note: Your desktop is any space that you see when you're looking at your screen that's not being used by a window. You can also click on your taskbar if you're having trouble bringing up this menu.
2. Click on Properties and wait for it to bring up a screen.
Tip: If you don't see the Properties keyword on the menu that came up then you're in the wrong menu. Try clicking somewhere else; the menu should read, Arrange Icons By, Refresh, Undo Move, Graphics Properties, and others like that.
3. Once you've gotten to the Properties window, click on the Screen Saver tab.
4. Once you're there, click on the Screen Saver pull down menu and look for "My Pictures Slideshow," that will bring up your photos up and you'll be able to see a preview of what your slideshow will be.
Note: When you do the above all of the pictures that are in your MyPictures folder will start showing in a preview; this is not what will show, unless you like it this way.
5. In order to customize it more, you can click on Settings. There you will be able to chose how often your pictures will change, how big they will be, what picture folder will show, and other such things. To chose what picture folder will show, click on Browse; this will bring up another screen that will allow you to search your computer for a picture folder that you'd like instead of the one pre-chosen for you.
6. When you're done, click Ok to close the Settings screen, and then click Apply if you want to keep changing stuff, or you can click Ok to close the properties window.
Now that you have learned how to get this done, go ahead and do it for yourself. It's such a great thing to do if you work in an office in which you have your own computer. People always like to see family pictures, and you will be able to see your family or friends all the time there too.
