About Six Weeks Before The Party
It's best to start about a month or so early to get everything ready. Decide when and where you wish to have this wonderful party. Not only that, but you need guests! Create a list of people who will be attending this gathering.
One Month Before The Party
Now its time to make invitations! Its best to send your invitations about a month before the party. Christmas is a hectic time of year for everyone, and people make plans throughout the month. Its best to give them a healthy heads up.
Three Weeks Before The Party
Get out all of your Christmas ornaments for the party. Clean them till they're shiny and ready to go. Go through each of them while cleaning to be sure each is in top shape. We all know how things tend to break while in storage. Keep out the ones you wish to use for the party, and stash the other ones for another day.
Two Weeks Before The Party
Gather some decorative boxes for the tree trimming party for your ornaments. Be sure to place tissue at the bottom of the boxes to insure that the decorative ornaments are protected against being damaged.
One Week Before The Party
Now its time for the most important part! Buy or cut your tree and set it where you wish for the party! My best advice is to buy something around six feet tall. Anything taller and most guests won't be able to reach the top. You don't want half the tree to look naked do you!
Day Before The Party
Start buying snacks and beverages for your guest if you prefer. Anything like cookies and treats will due just fine as well. Also, string the Christmas lights on your tree. That way you really have anything to do the day of the party. You can spend the day getting yourself ready.
The Day Of The Party
Set out all of your decorations and food. Turn on your holiday music and gift bags if you wish! Remember, this is a time to have fun, don't take it too seriously. Spend time with you friends and family and have a blast celebrating winter solstice.
Christmas is a time to celebrate being together and giving to people who need it. Give yourself a blast with your friends and family by having a tree trimming party! Have fun!
