When people think about Las Vegas the first thought that usually pops into their heads is casinos and nightclubs. Las Vegas is not called the city of sin for nothing. Everyone likes to go to Las Vegas nightclubs for a good time. All of the nightclubs require reservations, and so make sure you call them before you plan to arrive. The following are some of the best nightclubs in Las Vegas:

1. Rain

Rain has continued to be popular especially after "The Real World: Las Vegas" filmed there. It is located at the Palms Casino Resort. The nightclub is for people 21 and up. It is open from Thursday - Saturday from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. You have to wear club attire. You can not wear hats, sneakers /any sandals for men, torn or baggy jeans, or shorts. The nightclub has water fountains and fireball, 14 ft. lights. The music they play there is live music, hip hop, old school, mainstream, dance, and r & b.

2. Tryst

Tryst is known for its sensuality and passion. It is located at Wynn Resort and Casino. The nightclub is for people 21 and up. It is open from Thursday - Sunday from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.. You have to wear casual chic dress. No athletic wear, baggy jeans, or hats are allowed. The "A" list crowd likes to go to this nightclub. The nightclub has a waterfall, lots of greenery, and an outdoor dance floor. The music they play there is mashups, r & b, and house.

3. Studio 54

Studio 54 is known as a cooler version of the original Studio 54. It is located at MGM Grand. The nightclub is for people 21 and up. It is open from Tuesday - Saturday from 10 p.m. to close. You have to wear club wear. No shorts, sneakers, work boots, or baggy jeans are allowed. The nightclub is 22,000 sq. ft., has four dance floors, cool video/lighting, and live dancers. The music they play there is top 40, retro, progressive, and house.

4. LAX the nightclub at Luxer

LAX is known for where the celebrity's like to hang out. DJ AM and Christina Aguilera are both investors of the club. It is located at the Luxer. The nightclub is for people 21 and up. It is open from Wednesday - Saturday from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. The nightclub is 26,000 sq. ft., is two stories, has spiral staircases, and has cool VIP areas. The music they play there is r & b and top 40.

5. Voodoo Lounge

The Voodoo Lounge is known for its voodoo vibe. It is located at RIO-All-Suite Hotel and Casino. The nightclub is for people 21 and up. It is open from Sunday - Saturday 8 p.m. to 3 or 4 a.m. You have to wear upscale/business casual attire. You can not wear shorts, sneakers, hats, baggy jeans, or athletic wear. The nightclub has really exotic masks and paintings on the wall. Go-go dancers and bartender's fancy tricks spice up the atmosphere. It has a two tier outdoor terrace which equals to a great view. The music they play there is house, hip hop, r & b, and live bands.
