I started my search with Family Dollar store. The Family Dollar has two stores in Conway, They have a nice selection of trees that range in size from 4ft to 6ft. Prices are from $15.00 to $30.00. Family Dollar has a white tree and also they have some that are pre-lit. I went into one store, the one on River Oaks Drive and their tree display is very nice.
Dollar General Store has eight locations in Conway so one should be near you. I went to the Dollar General and checked out the price ranges and sizes of their trees. They have from 3 foot trees to 6 foot trees and also have a few that are pre-lit. The price varies from $8.00 up to $35.00.
The next place I checked is Big Lots. They have tree displays in store so you can actually see what they would look like set up in your house decorated. They also have a website you can see the trees from home. On the web they have more selections to choose from and you don't even have to leave the comforts of your house. Big Lots tree price ranges as follows. Pre-lit 61/2 380 multi-color LED lights $65 up to the Deluxe 71/2 with 600 clear lights for $110.
Wal-Mart I seen has the biggest selection. The prices range from $15 to $348. Sizes from 31/2 foot to 71/2 foot. There are different colors like a black pre-lit tree with red lights, which also comes in pink, blue or purple with clear lights. There is also a Gold tree and beautiful frosted trees. I have seen that frosted trees has become very popular recently. As I mentioned earlier some stores will also be selling live trees, this is one of the retailers that will have live trees. I tried to find out how much they will be selling for this year but the Associates have not been told so it will still be a little while maybe another week or so.
K-Mart has artificial trees beginning at $9.99 for 2 foot trees. Going all the way over $200.00 for 7 foot trees. K-marts website has a much bigger selection to choose from and they offer lay-a-way on purchases from their site. Beautiful pre-lit trees, white trees and frosted ones also. They are expected to have live trees also this year.
Lowe's Home Improvement has one location in Conway on 501 near Singleton Ridge Rd. They have a large selection of artificial trees pre-lit and non pre-lit. Pre-lit run in size and price as follows: 41/2 foot $38.00 - 71/2 $298.00. The non pre-lit trees are 6 foot for $15.98 up to 9 foot for $188.00. Lowe's also gets a selection of live trees in for the Christmas season. Call to see when they will be arriving and the prices.
