Fares are very reasonable at $1.75 per ride but the most commonly used is the All Day Pass which gives you unlimited rides all day for only $2. The drivers are generally courteous and nice, the cars aren't spotless but not filthy either but because they are the ONLY taxi service in Allentown, Pennsylvania, they are very busy. The average wait during daylight hours for a cab is about 45 min after you call them so plan accordingly. They are not cheap either. A taxi ride from center city Allentown to the Leigh Valley Mall (about 4 miles) will cost you about $10 to $12 each way. They're pretty honest too. They don't take the long way around and milk you of your money. During the time I lived there and used public transportation, I used taxis only when absolutely necessary.
