Have you recently discovered the wonders of the free Skype service? Well if you haven't then let me tell you the good part about it. Skype allows you to download free software from their site, create a free account with them, and then you're allowed to talk to all of your friends through there for free for any amount of time that you'd like. You can even add members to your call, and the options are really unlimited with them.

The problem that most Skype users have is that a lot of their friends don't yet have Skype and therefore they're stuck with awesome free software that they can't really use. Well in this article I am going to walk you through the steps of inviting two or more of your friends to download Skype so that you are able to talk to them for free online whenever you'd like for as long as you'd like.

1. Open up an internet browser.

2. Type http://www.skype.com in the URL box at the top.

3. Get to the Skype homepage and click on the "Share" link on the top right hand corner of the page.

4. Look for the blue button that says "... or send to more friends" next to the blue button that says "Preview Message" and click on it.

5. Once you get to the "Share Skype with a friend" page, fill out the form that you see there. You will need your name, your Skype name, the message you want sent out to the person's you're inviting, and the name's and email addresses of the ones you want to notify of Skype of.

6. You should then go over what you've entered in, and when you're done press the small yellow button at the end of the form that says "Send this."
Note: There is still one more step after this, so don't close your browser just yet.

7. The page that you will see next is the "Preview of tell a friend" page where you will see what your invitation will look like when your friend/s open up the email. If you are satisfied with what you see you should scroll down and hit the "Send it" button, but if you see an error or would like to edit your invitation hit "Go Back."

8. Now that you have hit "Send it" you will see the confirmation page that tells you that you have shared Skype with your friend/s. All you have to do now is wait for them to open your email, download the free software, get a free account with Skype and you will be able to talk over the internet for free.

You should note that using Skype will help minimize phone bills of all kind, and it has great features to offer with its free service. Enjoy!
