16.) Buy a piece of history
If your loved one is a history buff, you can buy him or her piece of history. Letters by famous people, old clothes, weapons, and personal items that belong to historical figures or played a role in history can be bought online. Just type "Want to buy a piece of history" in any search engine and you can get results in seconds. You might also want to check auction sites like e-bay and see if you can find somebody that is selling a piece of history. There are lots of historical pieces that may be bought online, vintage pieces like old computers, PDA, cell phones, toys, jewelry and even cars. You might want to give your history buff loved on an old book, old games and toys, world war I soldier's uniform or just anything old. Hopefully after you give it your relationship won't become history.
17.) Chocolates
Isn't chocolate a traditional valentine gift? Well it is, but it depends upon the kind of chocolate you give. If you must buy chocolates, seek out the most unique chocolate you could find in the planet. You could buy unique chocolates by searching the internet for "Unique chocolates" or "creative chocolates." An example of this is the Creative chocolate of Vermont whose product line includes unique and personalized chocolate baskets.
If you are into how the chocolate taste, perhaps the best chocolate there is in the world are Belgian chocolates. Belgian chocolates are considered as the "gourmet standard" by which all other chocolates are measures. It is the "King of chocolates" or the equivalent of Lamborghini, Ferrari or Rolls-Royce for cars. Even Swiss chocolates which are also considered as world class can't beat Belgian Chocolates as they import their recipe from Belgian chocolates.
What is unique about Belgian chocolates is the quality ingredients that is being used to manufacture the chocolate and the way it is manufactured. In today's hi-tech world of automated manufacturing, most Belgian chocolate is still being hand made in small shops using original equipment, that is equipment being used ever since Belgian chocolates were birthed out of existence. Most of the Old Belgian chocolate companies are still existing and operating today. While it is true that Belgian chocolates may be expensive compared to ordinary chocolates, it may just be the perfect way of saying how sweet your loved one is to you this Valentines Day.
