18.) Old news papers

A unique gift to give to your loved one this Valentines Day are perhaps old newspapers. Old newspapers? Are you kidding me? Well it isn't a joke. There is an online company called "Newspaper remembered" based on the United Kingdom wherein you can buy old newspapers to commemorate the special dates that has passed by ever since you had your relationship. The papers are protected in a beautiful hand finished presentation folder in dark blue chamois. It also contains the golden embossed of the words "A day to remember." It depends on you as to how many news papers you want to order. You could order the newspapers for your "monthsary" (monthly anniversaries), "Anniversaries" or every February 14 since the day you met. It's some sort way to recollect the past, the hard and special times that you had with your loved one. It may not be considered very romantic for some people but it may just light a spark for some people are keep the old flame of romance burning and alive for some.

19.) Make a time capsule

The 1989 Oxford English Dictionary defines a time capsule as "a container used to store for posterity a selection of objects thought to be representative of life at a particular time." Time capsules preserve history and serves as a valuable reminder of a certain period of time. Building or making a time capsule may perhaps be one of the most unique gifts you can give on Valentines Day.

There are expensive time capsules and even personalized ones that you can buy on the internet. Some are built to last using materials like heavy duty polyethylene, and stainless steel. However you can build on yourself using plastic containers, jars or anything that is sturdy, weatherproof and waterproof, that is if you want to store the time capsule outdoors. You can place things like love notes to your loved one, the pictures items that you gave or just about anything, anything to remind you both of your special relationship. You can also register the time capsule so that you will be reminded in the near future about it. You can register it at the International time Capsule Society.

20.) Give errands as gifts

Another unique gift you can give is when you volunteer to do errands for them for a week or a month. Not just your ordinary errands but errands that you hate. Errands that they know you hate. Or perhaps you could give a promise like loosing 10 lbs. within a month, or going to them gym every day. Your "errands gifts" must have an alternative. That is if you do not comply with them you are bound to give something else like a physical object. Be creative with your approach. You can make coupons using art papers or you could use your computer to make and print one. Your "errand coupon" could say "This entitles bearer to have the undersigned clean his car for 1 week" Or "This promise coupon is proof that the undersigned will go to the gym everyday or else he will buy bearer a new T.V set." It could be about anything. What is important is that you exercise your creativity in going about it.

So that's it folks. The bottom line is whatever you feel that expresses your love that is what you should give. Just be creative on what to give and how to give it. And always remember what Albert Einstein said about imagination "Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world."
