The Birmingham Botanical Gardens offer several different theme gardens for flower lovers to enjoy exploring. Find the Japanese camellia, which is the state flower of Alabama and then head over to the restaurant for some French cuisine.

The Birmingham Museum of Art offers free admission to the general exhibits and holds hours of 10 to 5 on Tuesday - Saturday and 12 to 5 on Sunday. If you'd like to take pictures, don't use a flash and get a special pass. Some exhibits do not allow any photographs, so be sure to follow the museums specific rules when you get your pass.
