You may consider working for the local foodbank. The food bank is always looking for new volunteers. One example is with food boxes. There are about 800 boxes of food that are to be distributed every month. Not to mention, they need to be packaged as well. There is always room for stacking as well. This position does require light lifting and after a food drive is when they need these type of volunteers the most. Customer service personale is another position that needs to be filled on a regular basis. There is surely something for every interest if helping others fill their tummy is important to you.
