And lastly, don't wear artificial nails for a long period. Generally, around 2 weeks or so is good enough. After 2 weeks, take the nails off, and let them breathe some air. Wearing artificial nails can suffocate your real nails underneath; thus, timing is important. If you're worried whether the nails would harm your original nails, wear if for a short period of time, like a week for example, and let your nails breathe again.
