Guide to Wedding Venues in Douglasville, GA

When I planned my wedding almost two years ago in Douglasville, GA., I struggled to find a beautiful facility to have my reception. Either the place was booked, or it just would not accommodate the size of my wedding. For any brides planning a wedding in the Douglasville area, here are some great places to consider having your wedding or reception or both.

Le Jardin Blanc-This beautiful estate is located near downtown Douglasville, and is the perfect place to host a spring or summer wedding. If your wedding will be small, like about 50 people or so, you can host your wedding and reception inside the home. Otherwise, it would be best to use the beautiful grounds outside. There is a spacious, green, well manicured lawn in front and on the side of the estate that has two tall, white pillars. Or you can use the backyard, which has a breathtaking garden, and beautiful white tent with windows for a beautiful reception spot. Catering is provided, and it could be a one stop wedding planning facility, because they will basically help provide you with everything that you need to make your day memorable and beautiful.

West Central Tech Conference Rooms- This is where I wanted to have my reception. I figured that it was the perfect spot for a reception, because of the easy to get to location, and space. There are two conference rooms, which hold about 420 people. Parking is free and ample. They have a spacious and pretty lobby, with pink and silver on the floor. My wedding colors were pink and silver, another reason I wanted this location so much. But, they were under construction at the time. This is a great location for a reception.

Centre at Arbor Connection- This is a newly built site that I wish had been there while I was planning my wedding. Oh, well. Another great location that is easy to get to. They can accommodate nearly 500 people in their meeting rooms. There is a full service kitchen on site. You can contact an event coordinator at 770-364-6204. They do not have a website up yet for their event center.

Douglasville Conference Center- Located in downtown Douglasville, this is a great spot to host a wedding reception. It accommodates 250 people seated banquet style. Kitchen included, outside catering is available. Affordable price.

These are the main venues in Douglasville that will host larger wedding receptions. There are other places that will accommodate less than 100 people. I hope this list helps you as you plan for your wedding. Happy planning and best wishes!
