Guidecraft Little Farm House Toy Chest Review

With so many toys scattered around the kids' room, we decided it was time to get them a toy chest. For some reason, putting the toys in the cabinet would mean that they would forget about them (out of sight, out of mind). But placing them right where they can see them, like in a toy chest, still gives them easy access to their toys and gives motivates them to keep their room clean because it is so easy to reach into a toy chest.

Finding the perfect toy chest was such a task. There weren't many available in the department store. We found the Guidecraft Little Farm House Toy Chest which is the perfect size for the children's room. The Guidecraft Little Farm House Toy Chest measures twenty nine by fifteen inches and is twenty inches high. The Guidecraft Little Farm House Toy Chest can fit my little boy's railroad set, lego set, my little girl's dolls, sketchpads, doll house and other toys scattered around.

The entire Guidecraft Little Farm House Toy Chest is made of wood yet it was light enough to make opening and closing the lid for kids a breeze. So many of these chests are too heavy and can be dangerous for kids to play with. This is due to them dropping the lid on their fingers and such.

The Guidecraft Little Farm House Toy Chest looks like a mini-animal house in a farm. It looks a bit feminine as it is painted pink with a green roof. I think I would prefer putting another design if it were in an all-boys room. Luckily, my boy and girl share for now, so the Guidecraft Little Farm House Toy Chest is perfect.

The Guidecraft Little Farm House Toy Chest looks very cheerful and as it now dominates the look of the room (because of its size and bold colors), I like the light feel of the kids room now.
