How do you rate a game?

Graphics? Game Play? Storyline?

This is my opinion and this is my article, and this is what I think.

Graphics - Personally, I like a game with a nice set of graphics. That isn't too bizarre (Character holding a 2Tonne War Hammer which obviously cannot be wielded by someone with 20 Strength). Not Cartoon based... *Looks at World of Warcraft*. That doesn't too unrealistic... (A Tiger riding a Kangaroo with a AK-47 hunched on its shoulder). And not 2Dimensional... *don't give me that look Maple Story...)*

World of Warcraft seems alright in my opinion, but the graphics are just not right for me. The graphics of World of Warcraft are cartoon based. I know you cannot have an actual human for a character, but at least get the colour and the "smoothness" of the graphics. The World of Warcraft Orc is what I always have in mind for a World of Warcraft graphic. Green skin, big fangs, size of a overgrown squirrel. It's just not my type of game.

Game Play - I like a game with good and complex game play. Both games master this very well. With Guild Wars' Mesmer and a World of Warcraft's Druid, it simply is an amazing battle.

Wait... Here comes the mesmeric Mesmer.

Look at that, the Druid has actually slowed to the pace of a crawling baby!

Oh WOW! The Druid is actually mass healing himself provided with a heap of hexes on him.

The Mesmer isn't finished yet! Here comes a Energy Storm + Imagined Burden! What a combo!

Oh dear! The Druid isn't finished yet, STARFIRE!

Looks like the Mesmer is in trouble. Wait! That's right; Guild Wars characters are allowed to have a second profession.

The Mesmer isn't just a Mesmer!

It's a Mesmer/Necromancer!

Here comes some HP Stealer skills!

The Druids mass healing like hell right at the moment!

The Druids running out of MP!

Ahh!

Oh no!

STUPID MESMER! HE'S RUN OUT OF MP AS WELL!

Sigh... Looks like it's up to weapon damage.

*Consistent low damage counters*

Jesus Christ! They're healing at the rate they're getting hit!

*A few Hours later*

Yes! We finally got our Mana back

Damn, it's pretty even after a few hours still...

Referee: *Whistle* It's officially a TIE!

Damn. And I thought some Runescape newbie was going to come out of nowhere and throw some Bronze Daggers at the Druid.

Really, the game play is quite good in both of them, there is a mix, but Guild Wars still whacks it. Guild Wars has more classes and a more vast range of skills to choose from.

Storyline, Guild Wars has a very good and excellent system for Storyline. Each campaign it's own storyline.

In Prophecies, the kingdom is overrun with Charr and other evil monsters. Your duty is to find the take the power back into the kingdom. You are set in a Camelot/Medieval place and era.

In Factions, guilds play a more important part. With the Kurzick and Luxon alliance. The events of the Factions campaign concern the return from death of a corrupted bodyguard named Shiro Tagachi. You are set in an Asian based time and era.

Nightfall takes place in the continent of Elona in the Guild Wars universe. It follows the player's character as they join the Order of the Sunspears and uncover the desire of Warmarshal Varesh to return a long forgotten god to the world through an event called Nightfall. This is based on more of a Roman based era and time I suppose.

Really, this is all I'm going to type, I believe in my opinion that Guild Wars really is better than World of Warcraft. What do you guys think?
