As 2010 approaches, Guinness World Records has compiled its list of Hollywood Heroes for the first decade of the new millennium, along with its biggest flops. Among the stars gaining recognition for their silver screen successes are Angelina Jolie, Johnny Depp and Harry Potter star, Daniel Radcliffe. On the flip side, Sylvester Stallone and Ben Stiller have the dubious distinction of winning the "Most Razzie Nominations" and "Most Razzie Nominations in a Single Year," respectively. The Razzie Awards honor the worst of Hollywood each year.

For the Guinness World Records 2010, Angelina Jolie captured the title of "Most Powerful Actress." Her partner, Brad Pitt, was named "Most Powerful Actor" for 2009, but for 2010, he had to relinquish the title to Johnny Depp. Depp reclaimed the title this year, based largely on the strength of his starring roles in the juggernaut Pirates of the Caribbean film franchise. The most powerful Actor and Actress records are based on a 12-month matrix of searches on Google, Yahoo! and Factiva, IMDB stories, Forbes earnings and Celebdaq share price.

Daniel Radcliffe, star of the blockbuster Harry Potter series, was named "Highest Grossing Actor of the Decade," with an average of $558 million per film. Radcliffe's co-star in the Harry Potter films, Emma Watson, was recognized for her own box office prowess. Watson earned the record for "Highest Average Box-Office Gross for an Actress," for starring in six movies that have grossed an average of $753.7 million each.

In 2009, Star Trek was hailed for its innovative take on the franchise and eventually emerged as a box-office champ. Besides those kudos, the movie's trailer set the Guinness World Record for "Most Downloaded Movie Trailer (24 Hours)" with 1.8 million downloads on www.apple.com its first day and more than five million downloads during its first five days of release. Twilight, which grossed over $190 million domestically on its way to becoming a golden film franchise, received the record for "Highest-Grossing Movie by a Female Director."
Catherine Hardwicke, who helmed the original Twilight, was not asked to direct its sequel, Twilight: New Moon.

Sylvester Stallone, who wrote the Oscar-winning classic, Rocky, has been bestowed a different type of honor by the Guinness World Records for 2010. He was cited for "Most Razzie Nominations" ever. Stallon has been nominated for the Razzie a staggering 30 times and won ten. Funny guy Ben Stiller, who has starred in such comedy gems as Something About Mary, Meet the Parents and Tropic Thunder was nominated for a record five Razzies in 2004 for his appearances in Along Came Polly, Anchorman, Dodgeball, Envy and Starsky & Hutch.

The Guinness World Records 2010 retails for $28.95 and will be available September 17, 2009.
