Guitar Legend Slash Files for Divorce

Tracy Vanderford
The former Guns N' Roses guitarist, Slash, has filed for divorce. According to TMZ, documents were filed Monday, August 30th in the L.A. County Superior Court citing irreconcilable differences.

Slash, his real name being Saul Hudson, has been married to Perla Ferrar since October of 2001. They have two children. The guitar legend is asking for joint custody and is willing to pay spousal support. There is no prenuptial agreement. He lists the date of separation as mid July 2010.

Slash was recently in the news for being knocked down by a fan during a concert. A fan ran across the stage in Milan last June tackling Slash. A security person was running behind trying to catch him. Slash barely hit the ground and popped back up never missing a lick. The fan and security guard toppled over the edge of the stage. It was caught on video which you can see on TMZ.

The legendary guitarist has published his memoirs, Slash by Slash. This is one of the best rock and roll books out there. I would highly recommend it.
