Our "spice" is oil. Those who control the oil, control the populations of the world. Wars are still fought for control of a gooey, black substance bubbling under our feet. We heat our homes with it and power our cars with it. Countries buy and sell the world's most important commodity like candy at the five and dime. Hands are wrung into knots worrying about what we are going to do when and if the oil runs out in the near future. How are we going to move into the 21st century with no oil?
Green technology is the hope for the future to power an ailing planet that is believed to have been damaged by burning fossil fuel thereby creating global warming.
Powering a home or entire community with the sun or wind is exciting. Cutting our dependence on foreign oil is vital to our security as well as our planet. Regardless of whether you are in believer in global warning or not isn't the issue. Having more than one source of energy that's clean and cheap has enormous possibilities for not only our country, but for poorer ones as well. Replacing sooty air with clean technology is only a plus for our health. There is no good reason why we should continue down the same road of burning as many barrels of oil a day just to keep the middle east happy with our dollars. But what if we have been deceived about the supply of oil still in the ground. What if our government, along with oil producing countries were leading us all to believe we had reached peak oil and a crisis was about to occur.
This summer, we saw an unprecedented rise in the cost of a barrel of oil. The result was painful price hikes at the gasoline pump and worries of higher than normal heating bills predicted for the upcoming winter. Ordinary Americans forced to pay double or more to fill their gas tanks so they could continue driving to work. We were assured the oil companies had nothing to do with the price increase. The markets set the price, not the oil companies. Congress did their obligatory duty with congressional hearings and quietly closed the books when they thought we weren't looking. In the meantime, we changed our driving habits, bit the bullet and dug down deeper to pay for gas which help push us into a deepening recession.
The general election began to intensify as the American people let it be known their dissatisfaction with
the outrageous prices at the pump. Suddenly, things began to quiet down. The price of a barrel of crude oil began to drop and drop and drop. The pump prices followed suit. World events that once sent a chill throughout the oil industry and the markets passed with little notice. A brewing hurricane came and went with no price increase. Concerns over the relationship between the US and Iran mustered only a shrug in the price of oil, if that. Some Saudi Prince developed a hangnail. So what. Events that up until the middle of the summer would have shot the price of a barrel of crude oil sky high didn't. Why?
Gull Island is five miles offshore from Alaska's Prudhoe Bay. Back in the 1970's, a huge oil and natural gas field was reported by Mr. Lindsey Williams to have been located by oil companies drilling in Prudhoe Bay. This information was kept quiet and no oil was pulled from the well until the early 1980's. Senator Hugh Grant (R-CO) 1968-1973, was visiting the oil field at the time and saw first hand the enormous find on paper. He apparently took his first hand knowledge to his grave. He passed away in 2007.
It's believed Gull Island holds more crude oil than Saudi Arabia. If this is true, why has our government kept this from us? Why have they not insisted the oil companies build more refineries to handle crude from untapped oil fields that have remained behind closed doors. Is there a conspiracy or have some jumped to conclusions that aren't based in fact?
Eugene Island is another example of an oilfield with massive amounts of oil deep underground. This island is 80 miles off the coast of Louisiana in the Gulf of Mexico. The strange thing about this oil field is that it seems to have an ability to renew itself. Apparently, oil keeps seeping into the field from another pocket of crude that has not yet been tapped into. This has been going on since 1989.
Those who control the oil, control the world and all who live in it. The last thing those who control the oil want out are reports of surplus crude oil. Oil fields that regenerate themselves or massive amounts of oil found are supposedly kept close to the vest. Surplus does not translate into higher profits. Shortages do.
Many believe our government would and has deceived us by colluding with the oil companies as they continue to control prices at the pump; even as they deny doing anything wrong. Even as the US government fills the US Strategic Oil Reserve, it produces a scarcity of oil which in turn raises the price of a barrel of crude oil.
So far, no one has been able to prove price manipulation by any oil company or government. Nor is there absolute proof of any kind of cover up concerning Gull Island. However, enough questions remain with no concrete answers that continue to play into a conspiracy theory even today that there is an abundance of oil spread throughout the world that could power us for centuries if not longer.
What is certain, those who may know aren't talking. Would and could an industry be so hungry for power and be so greedy that they are willing to deceive the people of the world?

Post a CommentWhy do we need to spend $700 Billion a year then? Just to keep they tyrants that pull strings happy and rich while we all suffer to pay our bills? Is it so we can continue to bow down in front of Arabian kings? God help us! But more importantly, God help the illuminati see the errors in their ways.
Our little globe gets smaller and smaller.
