Dear Cymbal:
Much essence is this upon paper drums.
Fun to scribble rhythm with drumsticks -
I drastically attempt notes with the impossible beat
Conflicting - much emotion - I wrote things.
I read spastic rantings into chords and harmonies.
I wait somewhat for the next chorus.
As you can see, this poem is still too long for an official "gum-ball poem". It's always nice to leave the final editing of such lame works to vastly superior bodies of humanity like yourselves. I've been told that if you put enough heads together, someone will write a perfect poem - and nobody will notice for hundreds of years.
Here is the next poem
Somewhat sarcastically spastic am I.
This attempt to vent all my conflicting, interesting emotions upon your intangible essence reads somewhat lamely on paper.
(Yes, it would look much better on ethereal vapor.)
Well, HELLO! I wrote you and you must be disappointed.
Well, that is how it is with things like chocolate, sex, and scribbled notes.
They are much more fun to wait for then to have when they are cheap.

Post a CommentVery nicely done, particularly the last one with the part about 'chocolate, sex and scribbled notes" and the point about how much more fun they are to wait for.....rather then have them.
