Suddenly more theives start to gather all around you untill the both of you are backed into a corner. Ned looks at you and tells you that he's been keeping a secret fom you for sll these years! He hands you a token to the local whore house and pushs you off the railing into the water below. Now that's the way that a video game should start! I admit that when I sat down to start this game I didn't have much hope. But I can thankfully say that I was 100% wrong. From the very start of of this game I felt like I was the lead actor in a great american western movie! I have to say that this game, in my opinion, one of the most well made game ever to released on the Nintendo Gamecube.
The graphics in this game are very well made. I'm glad to see that someone spent a little more time on the visual aspect of this game. As you progress through the story you will ride a variety of things including horses that look stunning as you race them across the land. You'll arrive at Dodge City, where you'll meet lots of lively people who walk and talk freely in passing. You'll have the opportunity to do a fair amount of shopping through out the game. Shopping with money you obtain through completing missions. Purchasing upgrades will increase your stats. You could even partake in a few games of Texas Hold 'em for some quick cash.
Most of the story in GUN is mission based. Mission based, but never dull. Each mission completed will uncover a little bit more of the story, piece by piece, unveiling a largely evil plot for secret Aztec gold. Your job in the game is get to the bottom of this mystery and save the town!
This game kept me on the edge of my seat untill the very end. GUN is a very pick up and play type of game that just about anyone can enjoy!
