Two weeks ago, an air cargo containing armaments like M-16s and 9mms were intercepted at the airport in Cagayan de Oro City. These were unserviceable firearms from the Philippine National Police and are being illegall sold to the government's enemies--the rebels in Mindanao.
Why are these things happening? Where is the command responsibility of the president? Why is she letting the different agencies function the way they want without order and complete with illegal activities? Because that will ensure their support of her?
Sigh...what is going on in the Philippines? Not only graft and corruption is rampant, but everyone seems to be running his own affairs other than that of the interest of the Filipino people.
Do we really deserve the officials that we have? Are we that gullible?
