Really, that's just adding to the problem; we don't need this many people walking around with guns, because you know if something happens, even if it's a fight with a family member, or what have you, they're going to reach for that gun. This just causes more violence and crimes as things get worse in America. The guns need to be banned period. No one needs to have a gun because they're not going to use it for the purpose they bought it for. Why should 2.5 million people have a gun, it just doesn't make any sense. They only want it because it's the law and just in case. But, if no one has a gun than no one would need one. These are just excuses to own a gun.
Everyone always complained about how this could happen, well, there's to many guns in the streets and own by Citizens who don't really need them. Less look at it, how often do you really need to protect yourself from someone where you need to have a gun. This is just an excuse to own a gun. Even the police don't really need a gun, because they also misuse it. Guns are getting out of hand in America.
Every day someone is getting killed by guns, that should be enough to let everyone know there should be a ban on guns. Than you wonder why your kid found your gun, or, was killed by one in the streets. How often does someone break into your house? not that often. If you're so worried about that just get a dog, or two dogs. You don't need to shoot anybody.
People don't know how to control their tempers already. So, they think if they have a gun it's going to make them more safer. Guns is getting out of hand in America. Obama does need to ban guns because, there's to many American people purchasing guns for the wrong reasons, no matter what they say the reason is it can't be good with Millions of people owning guns, someone will get hurt or killed sooner or later. Than we all will want to know how this tragedy could happen, get a dog.

Post a CommentChris, ha! ha! you're very funny about the car. but, I just think that if to many people have the use of guns it could be dangerous to others.
"Even the police don't really need a gun..." I have to disagree on this one. If you knew how many people want to kill cops, because "I hate cops." I understand what your saying about having no need for guns. I refuse to get a gun for the same reason you wrote in your article, "...don't know how to control their tempers..." I think I would have shot my car all up, at work...
correction, to many people are buying guns!
You know I will read your article, but lets get one thing straight this is not a emotional article. I'm speaking about how everyone wanted to go purchase a gun before Obama became President. And I have read the fact, plus you use common sense when you hear about how many people is buying guns. Second I know about the background check, fingerprint check and everything else it takes to purchase a gun. That doesn't change the fact that to many people are buying going because of the new Administration. And third, I also know that it's constutional right to bare arm, that is may point. And I don't think this is funny at all, it certainly won't be if the guns are misused.
Here is the link to my April 9, 2007 article "Handguns and the Concealed Carry Phenomenon."

Gloria, you are so wrong it's not funny Madam. First off, the Second Amendment says our right to own guns CANNOT be taken away - ever!!!!!!!!! As well, if you did some fact based research instead of an emotional article you would find that in states where concealed carry laws are liberal, as in my state of VA, CRIME DECREASES. DECREASES! To get a concealed carry permit one must pass numerous background checks, fingerprint checks, etc. I wonder do you know that according to a FLA. study from a few years ago, a police is TWICWE as likely to commit a crime than is a concealed carry permittee?
and however the criminals are getting all these guns needs to stop aswell.
This goes for the criminals to. They need to take guns off the unerverse no one should be able to buy them criminal or otherwise.
