Guys You Should Resolve Never to Date: Unevolved Men to Avoid Dating

Resolve Never to Date Guys Who Have yet to Evolve into Men

Tamara McRill
There are some guys you should resolve never to date. Unevolved men are definitely ones to avoid dating. The male who has yet to turn into a man may be hard to spot, so look out for these warning signs of these types of guys you should resolve to stop dating.

The Mama's Boy

This guy has yet to evolve into a man, because he's still mama's little baby. It's wonderful for a man to love his mother, but this is the guy that will leave your birthday dinner to go to her side. Resolve never to date a guy who can't do anything without checking with his mommy first.

The 30-year-Old Frat Boy

You know the type, thinning hair line, hangs at the bars all night, and his friends are all younger. This guy never past his "dude" phase and is still trying to impress the young girls. He is even likely to hit on other women, while you are with him. Avoid dating a guy who has been out of college 10 years, but still thinks beer pong is the best way to spend a Tuesday night.

The Woman Hater

This type of male can be hard to spot, because he will always talk sweetly and respectfully to you, at first. The key thing to look for is how this man talks about other women. Yes, it can be gratifying to hear that he thinks the girl walking by in a short skirt is a skank. Then you'll start to notice that he calls his sister a whore and his mom a hag. After you agree to date him, things change drastically. Suddenly he's talking to his friends and referring to you as stupid or worse. Resolve to never date a guy who is always putting down other women.

The Neat Freak Perfectionist

The neat freak perfectionist seems like a wonderful guy to date on the surface. He's neat, always knows where things are and cleans. The problem is he expects perfection in everything around him and that includes you. This will do nothing but stress you out, as you spend all day wondering if you remembered to make his bed just so. Worse yet, you will begin to feel as if you don't quite stack up, which will affect your self esteem. Avoid dating a guy who makes you feel like you have to pass inspection.

The Sloth

The sloth is the perfectionist's nemesis, but is just as undateable. He has little care for his possessions and won't take care of yours. That includes your heart. Signs of a sloth are homes that resemble trash dumps, pizza boxes for plates and clothes that never quite seem clean. Resolve never to date a guy you'll have to play housekeeper for - and you will, because you don't want him staining up your couch.

The Neanderthal

The guy you should absolutely resolve never to date is the Neanderthal. He is king among unevolved men, or at least he thinks he is. This guy is crude, rude and has a bad attitude. The Neanderthal is always starting fights, including with you. You can't take him out in public, because he doesn't have any social graces. Even if you do, chances are you will get kicked out of everywhere you go. Friends will forget your phone number and you certainly can't hold a civil conversation with him. Avoid dating a man who may literally club you. No abusive relationship is worth it.
