Guys: A Survey Says You Need to Make a Lot of Money to Get Women

Choosing a soul mate has been a cliché for a long time. Cynics have long pointed out that choosing a soul mate has more to do with the desires and in some cases lusts of the person picking a potential partner than finding spiritual compatibility. Sites like eHarmony use the same idea to drive people to their site. A study conducted and reported by the BBC confirms the suspicions long held by cynics about why people pick potential spouses.

It is no secret that men choose their desired partners largely based off of lucks. A man wants a mate, even a soul mate he initially finds attractive. Women on the other hand, go after something men have known all along when it comes to finally settling down. The soul mate for a woman often depends on the financial stability and success of her person she picks out as a husband. The finding led one researcher to comment that although humanity believes itself to be highly evolved away from its caveman ancestors.

When it comes to selecting a soul mate something called "speed dating" has become increasingly poplar. Speed dating is when perspective couples meet for a few minutes at a time to help each other get the idea with life what their perspective partner will be like. The study asked participants what they looked for when choosing a perspective partner. Despite the old adage that opposites attract, most people said that they were looking for someone like themselves.

The Indiana University team did not discover anything earth shattering when it comes to how men and women pick perspective partners. After centuries of evolution men are still superficial and women tend to think in longer terms. So, guys, if you want to snag the perfect gal for you the secret is to simply make a lot of money. Look at Bill Gates, he is not a very attractive man until you look at his estimated wealth. Power and money are probably the secret to many other unattractive men snagging attractive wives and staying married longer or at least staying long enough for their former wives to earn alimony payments in the states that have it. The study also found that men were likely to want to date more women, another revelation that fails to be Earth-shattering. But it tends to be good news for the geeky guys who stay in school to earn a larger income.

Survey's are like many old wives tales, just enough truth to make them interesting. The true happy relationship has prosperity and abundance no matter what the check book has. ;-}}>

That's why the farmer's daughter has more luck than the farmer's son; the daughter knows that she'll have a more-bountiful harvest if she just waits for it, but the son who's "just waiting" will remain a farmer with a farmer's salary.
