The environment at Gymboree Play and Music is clean, safe, colorful, and fun. Granted I have only been there four times but of those times I have found the facility to be very clean. I take my 7 month old there and as all babies do, she sticks everything in her mouth. I did have a thought of other babies drooling on the same toy my child is sticking in her mouth. Well after class one day I saw the instructor wiping down all of the toys used with disinfecting wipes. That brought so much peace to my mind.
Secondly, Gymboree is a safe environment. The entire floor is covered in padding so as to provide a soft landing for any potential falls. Not just that but they do require for parents to be involved and responsible for their own children. As we know, young babies and children love bright colors.
Well this facility is covered in bright reds, yellows, greens, blues, and purples just to name the ones I remember. Oh and let's not forget the fun aspect of Gymboree. They have baby and kid friendly obstacle courses that our children can play on, the instructor has a song for every single activity including the transitions from one activity to the next. This is why Gymboree scores big with me on its environment.
The staff at Gymboree Play and Music is, as the young ones say, off the hook. They cheerfully greet us as we walk into the facility. The instructor will even greet all the young ones by name and will talk to them. The Gymboree staff doesn't treat our babies as just babies. They treat them like people. That says a lot to me on how much care they put into their services.
I find the program itself just so amazing. Before we started taking my daughter to Gymboree, she didn't show an interest in standing or crawling at all. Since she has started going, she wants to do nothing but stand and she is crawling so much now. Keep in mind that she started when she was 6 ½ months old and she is now 7 months and 1 week old. In that short time, she has grown so much developmentally. Gymboree is also good for their social skills. They are able to interact and make friends in these classes. Oh and let me tell you about all the smiles I see during the 45 minute period we are there. Seeing those smiles tell me that all the babies are having tons of fun.
In closing, I recommend the Gymboree Play and Music in El Paso to any parent of children ages 0-6 years. You will not be disappointed. Especially when you see the fun your child is having. Keep in mind that this is based off of the Gym class at level 2 (6-10 months). Gymboree Play and Music offers other types of classes for different age groups. To find what's best for your child, call and ask about their classes.
