H1N1 Vaccine Deaths: Are H1N1 Vaccine Deaths a Hoax?

H1N1 Vaccine Deaths in Sweden Are Making News

Meg G.
H1N1 vaccine deaths scare everyone. Are H1N1 vaccine deaths possible? Are H1N1 vaccine deaths making the news rumors or fact? Will I die from the H1N1 vaccine?

Personally speaking, I received the H1N1 vaccine about a week ago. So far, I am still alive. I personally didn't experience any side effects from the H1N1 vaccine, but of course, that could always change.

H1N1 vaccine deaths reported are from Sweden. Two Swedish elderly patients passed away a few days after getting their H1N1 vaccines. One of the H1N1 vaccine deaths happened in a 74 year old with lung and heart disease. The other death happened to a 90 year old, whose health status is not disclosed to the public.

Are the "H1N1 vaccine deaths" really from the vaccine? Someone with heart and lung disease could have underlying issues totally unrelated to the vaccine. A 90 year old individual with an undisclosed health status could have a whole slew of problems not related to the vaccine.

That's not to say that H1N1 vaccine deaths aren't possible. There are critics of the vaccine who state that the same "swine flu vaccine" given in the 1970s was linked to a potentially deadly nerve disorder, GBS. The government and healthcare providers commonly tote the vaccine as safe, and even recommend children and pregnant women to get the vaccine.

So is the H1N1 vaccine safe? Will there be many more H1N1 vaccine deaths? There are many contents of the H1N1 vaccine that are under scrutiny. Patients that are allergic to eggs shouldn't take the H1N1 vaccine. Pregnant women shouldn't take the vaccine with the preservative. They should seek out a vaccine without the preservative, which is normally found at their OB/GYN office. Of course, before taking anything every pregnant woman should discuss the risk with her doctor.

The H1N1 outbreak and discussions over the H1N1 vaccine safety showcase just how wound up the public can get. Back when the "swine flu" was making its first rounds, people were begging for a vaccine. Now that we have an H1N1 vaccine, people are skeptical and think that there will be many H1N1 vaccine deaths.

So far, the H1N1 virus has caused several thousand deaths worldwide. School districts have closed over H1N1 outbreak, and several college students were even quarantined for a while when they tested positive for the virus.
