Restore accepts donations of just about anything that can be used for your home such as landscaping material, windows, doors, furniture, tools, full rolls of wallpaper, lumber, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC items. Donating items to the Cleveland Restore not only frees up valuable space in your home, but you get a handy little tax write off. I know I have items that I have salvaged from various homes throughout the year that just take up space in my basement. Knowing that I can take the items to the Cleveland Restore from nine until three on Tuesday to Thursday, is a huge step towards being able to walk in my basement once again. I also feel good that the door I felt the need to bring with me when I moved from Columbus to Cleveland will be sold as opposed to filling a landfill.
Going to the Restore is a great way to save some serious money. The store is huge and has just about everything you could ever need to improve your home. They not only collect donations from people clearing out their homes, but they work with companies to salvage items from homes that are being torn down. Items rotated based on donations so you never know what you might find.
When going to the Restore try to get there on Friday morning for the best selection. Be prepared to take anything you might need to buy home that day in your car. Items can be held until the next week, but prepayment must be made. The Restore does not accept checks so please bring either cash or a credit card. Next time you need to replace a door or a window in your home, or are just looking for a few new window sashes consider shopping at the Cleveland Restore instead of a big box retailer. You will not only save yourself money, but the proceeds go directly to Habitat for Humanity.

These stores are great. We've got one here and there are bargains galore.
This is a wonderful way for Cleveland folks on a very tight budget to get items to keep their homes maintained!
