I Review This Washer Dryer Combo From Haier

With the costs of energy on the rise, it is very important that you turn your home into a green-home. One of the best ways to begin this process is to switch out your high-energy consuming washing machine for a more efficient model. If you are interested in doing this, than you will need to purchase a front load washing machine, however, there are literally hundreds of front load washing machines on the market, so which ones are worth your money? The Haier 1.5 Cu. Ft. Washer/Dryer Combo, Model: HWD1000 will provide you with all of the necessary features to accurately clean your clothes, without using massive amounts of water that traditional washing machines use. I would recommend this washer/dryer combo for smaller families or single working professionals.

Main Product Features:

As stated earlier, this washing machine is not suitable for those with large families. The reason for this is because the overall drum capacity of this washing machine is 1.5 cubic feet, which is enough room for a small family or a single professional, but not large enough if you have several children living at home. However, if you are searching for a secondary washing machine, and dryer, to go into your boat, RV or a vacation home, than this will be your ideal appliance.

With advanced features, this compact front load washing machine will treat your clothes with the upmost care. With a genuine stainless steel washing drum, your clothes will be washed more accurately, and the stainless steel drum is less-prone to wear-and-tear. Because of the overall design and various features placed within this front load washing machine, you can expect it to last you many years.

However, one of the coolest features of this appliance is the fact that it is your washing machine and dryer within one appliance. Basically, this one machine will accurately wash and dry your clothes. There are a total of 7 Fabric Care Wash Cycles and 4 Drying Cycles you are able to choose from. While there have been many different washer/dryer combos circulating throughout the market, none of these have come to the overall engineering of this appliance.

You will not have to worry about attaching a vent to this washer/dryer appliance because the moisture is condensed out of your clothes and sent to the drain instead of out a vent. This washer/dryer combo is one of the most well-built appliances within this category, and I highly suggest it for those who are looking for a simpler way to do their laundry.

Product Price:

This washer/dryer combo from Haier is available to consumers for an average price of only $900, which is a great deal for a combo appliance.

Both Haier combo models, the vented and unvented, have "shipping bolts" that the manual advises to keep and use if you move the unit. Seems like a red flag for Boat or RV use.

Jonathan McLelland's review of the Haier HWD1000 combination Washer-Dryer is evidence that he has never used one, probably never had one, might have seen one in a store (from a distance), and may be evidence that his particular review is simply Haier marketing in disguise. The language of his review contains remarkably similar awkward-isms present throughout the HWD1000's Owner's Manual. On this basis, I would be inclined to critically evaluate any of his other reviews -- there are many many of them -- with a good dose of common sense and healthy skepticism. See my review of the HWD1000, elsewhere. I have one.
