Obama rising
Oratory heavenly
His words so human

Barack, Zen master
Alone, like one hand clapping
Biden: second hand

Obama soaring
His speeches fly to heaven
And reach common man

Palin is so hot
And she pushes hot buttons
Not ready to lead

Barack has a mind
John McCain minds his temper
Biden minds his mouth

Who can bring real change?
John McCain banks to the right
My bet's on Barack

Barack speaks volumes
McCain's straight-talk turns crooked
Old tricksters write script

I hear Barack speak
He brings people to their feet
I look down in prayer

He says he is Black
His mother was White, Kansan
The hue over hue

No absolute truths
In bipolar internet
Rancor and shrillness

Rush Limbaugh distorts
Spews hatred for liberals
Dittoheads, ditto
