Some of the most well known Dire Straits songs include 'Money for Nothing', 'Walk of Life', 'Sultans of Swing', 'Romeo and Juliet' and 'Brothers in Arms'.
Dire Straits stopped recording as a group in 1995. Mark Knopfler still enjoys a solo career today.

Post a CommentHeard a Mark Knopfler interview on BBC radio recently. Seems one of the nicest guys in music. He says he's 'into' performing old British folk music, Celtic music at the mo. These haikus have a good vibe!
Wonderful! :)
It's good to hear from another Dire Straits fan. Just a few weeks after you wrote your article, I wrote one, as a call-for-content, on my top ten Mark Knopfler songs (published 4/26). I'd be interested to learn where you agree or disagree.
Sounds like good music to me!
Very well done!
