I love the smell in the air after it rains. As a child, I use to love playing in puddles. Recently my two youngest daughters went out in our yard to jump in puddles. Children are so carefree and happy. They see things in a different light than adults.

Post a CommentJust plain beautiful!
Nice Haiku :)
I'm not sorry, but I'm 70 years old and I'm still a child when it comes to rain. Of course I live in the desert where there isn't a lot of rain, but I still love standing out there when rain is coming down like a waterfall. It revives my soul and it makes puddles from heaven.
Nice haiku.
Great Haiku, takes me back to when I'd jump in puddles, thanks :)
I could hear the song in my head.
Puddles remind us that some things are only temporary - but should be enjoyed to the fullest :) cheers!
Very nice!!! I love your haikus!
There is something so completely innocent about children playing in puddles.....I love this! Beautiful thoughts...
I love how carefree children are at times. It sometimes makes me wish that I could go back to that time so I can get a break from the adult world. Great haiku :)
