Haiku Series: May Day

May, in Woodland Setting

Mike Powers
MAY DAY
April steals away,
May arrives, sunny splendor.
All the world's abloom!

THE GARDENS
Tulips, daffodils,
Forsythia abounding
May's garden delights

THE WOODLANDS

Maples, birches, oaks
Branches, once bare, now leafy
May's verdant splendor.

THE FRONT YARD

Bright sunlit front yard,
Warm gentle breezes carry
May's flowery aromas.
