the isolation and pain
or just loneliness

I'm not antisocial, but I enjoy my own company. My husband has been on a business trip for the last three days. I thought it was great to have the house to myself. I slept in late, stayed in my pajamas, spent way too much time on-line and watching TV shows he wouldn't like, and eating strange foods he hates. Last night I was up until 4 in the morning without anyone telling me to go to bed! Haha! I slept better without him kicking me and stealing my blankets. Will I welcome him home? Of course. But alone time is a good thing sometimes. It's liberating.

I like solitude sometimes...it can be refreshing sometimes, but ya too much solitude can be, well, sad and bad....

Solitude is a breath of fresh air to me. I know some people feel lonely or bored without others around them, but I really need my alone time :)

I haven't had any solitude in so long, I'd love a whole day of it.

Very good. I appreciate solitude at times, but it isn't long before I long for a conversation or visit with someone. It's a double-edge sword for me.

Well penned Haiku. It says so much and true too.
