Haiku: Summertime and Barbecues

Jenny Heart
Time for summer time

Times for weekend barbecues

Time for some burnt ones

Marie Stine wrote a great flip flop Haiku that inspired me to write a summer time haiku as well. I dedicate this haiku to her husband Steve who on occasion has burnt a few hamburgers with great style. We all just love them that away.

Try writing your own Haiku poems that will help us feel warm as summertime. The link below is Marie Stine 's latest Haiku poem. Read and enjoy and maybe fix yourself a cup of ice tea. Sit back relax and put your feet up, and dangles those flip flops.

I write on ehow, Triond, Bukisa, Xomba, and Infobarrel. When belonging to all these sites one can't help but learn many things. Sit a spell and learn something new. I might just be writing about you.  View profile

Um, not really a fan of this one. Not deep enough for me, but I will try to trudge through more of your stuff.
