I'm no haiku expert, but this sounds like our country!
Funny thing is that my own negligence did a lot more damage than that storm. A lot of farmers lost everything to a later hailstorm. It has been a tought season, we've been fortunate. And Sharon and Deonlis, I am glad that second meaning came through to you! Thanks so much for your comments!

This has been a rough season.
Sometimes I am that garden. Life might beat me down once in awhile but I'm not broken yet.
