Animals in the Haiku Zoo:

We are very big
Weigh up to six-hundred pounds
Take a winter's nap

Our necks reach so high
Tallest living animal
Eighteen-inch long tongue

Eucalyptus leaves
Yum, that's what we like to eat
Live in Australia

In the horse family
We look cool with all our stripes
Good at climbing rocks

The largest primate
Arms are longer than our legs
Silverback is boss

We are fun to watch
Live in water but have fur
Playful, social, clowns

Orange with black stripes
Very close to extinction
We're the biggest cat

Born underwater
Our name means a 'river horse'
We can be real mean

Largest animal
We remember everything
Known for being smart

Big marsupial
Hopping is the way we walk
Baby in my pouch

We're the best stalkers
Graceful and we blend right in
Spots are hard to see
