Hair Therapy Wrap Cordless Thermal Turban

I never liked the thought of deep conditioning my hair, because I felt to do so, I would have to sit under a stationary hair dryer to allow the conditioning treatment to penetrate my hair and since I did not own a bonnet dryer, I could not deep condition my hair very often at all. After using the Hair Therapy Wrap, I can now say that I love to deep condition my hair.

The Hair Therapy Wrap has special gel packs that release heat into the thermal turban when it is warmed up in a microwave for about 20 seconds or by placing the gel packs in boiling water and then re-inserting the gel packs into their designated compartments inside the Hair Therapy Wrap.

The Hair Therapy Wrap Cordless Thermal Turban is made from 100% cotton material, comes in three colors- brown, black, white, and it has a tail end that you can twist up in the back and is secured on the top with self sticking Velcro. Also included are two plastic caps, a bottle of deep conditioner, and full written instructions.

It is so simple and easy to use. To begin the process, I simply applied the conditioner that came with the kit all over and throughout my hair, placed the plastic cap over my head, put all three gel packs in the microwave for about 20 seconds, only because my microwave takes a little longer to warm up, I then re-inserted the gel packs inside the Hair Therapy Wrap and put it on my head for about 30 minutes. I felt the warmth all over my head. It was not that hot, but I could still feel the penetrating heat. After about 30 minutes, I removed the therapy wrap from my head and washed the conditioner from my hair. I had never seen my color treated hair look so shiny before. The Hair Therapy Wrap caused the deep conditioner to penetrate my hair shaft and left my hair conditioned, silky, and full of shine. I liked the way my hair looked after using the Hair Therapy Wrap and my results were much better than when I used to sit under a hairdryer.

What I also like about the Hair Therapy Wrap is the freedom that it provides. Because it is cordless, I had much more mobility to be able to walk around and do other things while I waited for the Hair Therapy Wrap to do its job and deep condition my hair. You can even use it while taking a bath or shower. You do not have that freedom sitting under a stationary hairdryer for 30 minutes.

The Hair Therapy Wrap is also very easy to clean. It can be washed with mild detergent and then air dried. I highly suggest placing the entire Hair Therapy Wrap in the microwave with the gel packs inserted inside the compartments of the turban. I did not do it this way, but the next time I deep condition my hair with the Hair Therapy Wrap, I will, because the gel packs can get a little too hot to touch with your hands unless you use heat mittens.

My overall experience with this product has been a very positive one. If I were to give this product a star rating, I would definitely give it 5 stars. I like the way the Hair Therapy Wrap makes my hair look and feel. It really works and I love the freedom that it gives me while I deep condition my hair.
