Haiti's Miracles: Mother Rondlie Daniel and Son Reunited Days After Earthquake

Haiti has had what may seem to be many miracle recoveries recently. Charlotte residents cheered when they heard the news of a mother, Rondlie Daniel, being reunited with her missing son. Matthew may have been presumed dead by some, but he was very much alive.

Haiti is struggling daily to recover those who have been trapped in buildings destroyed by the recent earthquake. Rondlie Daniel sat outside the rubble that was once her home for five days. Matthew was trapped in the rubble but Rondlie had no way of knowing he was alive.

After five days Rondlie Daniel left the area. Soon Rondlie was contacted by neighbors with the news that Matthew had been rescued. At that point Rondlie may have been overwhelmed by what must seem like a miracle to many.

Those who rescued Matthew said he was dehydrated after the ordeal. Medical personnel are concerned that Matthew will lose a leg due to gangrene.

Haiti's miracles continue every hour. However, physicians have warned that many who survive may later succumb to infection.
