Hal Turner - America's Cancer

First off, don't take the title to mean I'm anti-American - if this is the first piece of writing of mine you've read. But I genuinely can't think of anyone else who writes trash this terrible in any other part of the 'civilised' world - not even my habitual pet hate, Ian Paisley.

Quite a few years ago I watched a Kazaa video, labelled 'Friends' oddly enough, which featured a beheading of a soldier with a knife. I'm not squeamish - I've seen death as I'm sure many of us have - but this was easily the nastiest thing I've ever seen. The sort of stuff that sticks in your head. The memory of which was just brought back and made me just a little nauseous. The point of this?

This story first appeared yesterday, 14th August, regarding two execution style murders in Russia. Today, whilst researching a story on the Amero (North American Union 'conspiracy') I had the misfortune of stumbling on the Hal Turner Show's website, which had a piece about it.

It also had a piece about the Russian executions, with the video. I'm not going to post the link. You can find it yourself if you desire. I don't entirely recommend it. I cannot bring myself to watch the video, bar the first couple of seconds to see that it was the video. It certainly appears to be. Posting it was sick enough.

But what I find particularly disgusting, is his commentary on the video, and how he relates to it...

YOU can share this same fate if you're a federal judge siding with illegal aliens over your own country.

We're done putting up with politically correct bullshit and we have begun killing to stop it.

Just let us hear about one more federal judge striking down state or locally enacted anti-illegal alien laws; watch what happens to that judge. Just let us hear one more politician talking about how Illegal Immigrants deserve a path to citizenship; watch what happens to that politician. Just let us hear one more community leader say "diversity is our strength" and watch what happens.

Don't like it? Too fucking bad. You've been shoving this politically-correct bullshit down our throats for years; you brought this on yourselves. Stop now or die

At first I thought it was the 'press release' by the killers themselves. Wrong, as you can see by the US references.

Justifying murder of people based on colour is appalling and mindless. Justifying murder of people based on their colour and adding a video of real murders is appalling, but is not mindless. In my opinion, it is plain evil. It is agenda driven.

I thought Pat Robertson was a little too 'outspoken'. I knew Hal Turner was bad, but.....

Is there worse to come? Or is this as bad as it gets? Is this as bad as it can get? Is there anyone worse than Hal Turner in the US public eye? Where do you draw the line at free speech? Is he voicing an opinion, or encouraging racial murder?

I am providing this video because my web site is a news-oriented site and this is news. It is also ugly truth about real life.
The truth is sometimes ugly, but I believe adults deserve the OPPORTUNITY to see the ugly truth for themselves. I think ADULTS can make decisions for themselves without having to be "protected" by "terms of service" at "nanny-like" internet providers.

Does that cover him? If he posted the video as news for news sake, maybe. He seems to have posted his video as part of a racist tirade - so I'm not so sure. Morally, anyway, if not legally.

Journalism is a difficult trade, requiring writers to carefully research items and publish in a responsible fashion, whilst at the same time requiring them to unearth scandals that cannot also be unearthed according to the rules. Free speech protects them, however, providing they stick to the basic rules. It certainly should anyway. But should it protect Hal Turner? His abuse of the laws designed to protect him is not simply a matter to be written of as a 'disgraceful anomaly'. The world of communication is changing, and Hal Turners are springing up every where. Where is the line to be drawn?

Whilst there is concern that free speech is being gradually eroded in parts of the West, the biggest danger to our right to say what we want may in the end come directly from Hal Turner, and those like him, with their blatant misuse of free speech. Forcing the authorities to amend the law. To their liking, of course.
