If you live in Hawaii then you know that your vehicle needs to get a safety check. A safety check is similar to an emissions test in a way. Safety checks make sure that your lights, blinker, horn, and other essential car functions are working properly. You cannot renew your registration without getting a safety check first. Often times this can be a painful experience because of the long lines at different service stations. However, if you are ever on the North Shore of Oahu and are in need to get a safety check done quickly, then might I recommend the Haleiwa service station?

Haleiwa service station has been around for a long time. It is one of those stations in a small town where people come to know it by different means. At one time it was known as the three corner gas station because of its location in town. Many others simply know it as Cal's because of the mechanic there named Calvin. No matter what you call it, you can be sure to get great service and a safety check as speedily as possible when you head over to the Haleiwa service station.

What I really liked about the Haleiwa service station is the fact that the lines were short or nonexistent. I brought both my vehicles there to get safety checks and was in and out in a matter of 15 minutes for each vehicle, pretty good if you ask me. The other great thing is the laid-back atmosphere. The mechanics there are friendly and helpful. If you own a vehicle and need to get it safety checked and need to do it as quickly as possible, then head on over to the Haleiwa service station.

A safety check can be had for $15 if there is nothing that needs to be replaced such as a headlight bulb or a brake light bulb. And even if one of these needs to get changed, the mechanic there at the station can change it for you for just a few dollars. In my case one of the brake late bulbs were out and the mechanic changed it for me, making my grand total $20 for the day. Not too bad. Not too bad at all. If you live in Hawaii be sure to get your safety check because if you get pulled over for an expired safety check it will end up costing almost $100, trust me I have been there. Come down to the Haleiwa service station, you won't regret it.
