Hall of Fame recipient, Warren Moon was arrested early Friday morning for investigation of driving under the influence, the Washington State Patrol said Monday evening April 9, 2007.

Moon was pulled over in downtown Kirkland, Washington for speeding around 2 a.m., Trooper Courtney Stuart said. He was then arrested for DUI, and taken to the Kirkland police station to be processed and given a breathalyzer test. His car was then impounded.
Results of the test have been turned over to the King County Prosecutor's office, which will determine whether any charges will be filed. Moon has been a personality on Seahawks radio broadcasts for the past three seasons. He played 17 seasons and 208 games in the NFL with the Houston Oilers, Minnesota Vikings, Seahawks and Kansas City Chiefs, retiring as a player after the 2001 season. He entered the Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, in August, 2006.

Warren Moon (born November 18, 1956 in Los Angeles, California) is a former American and Canadian football quarterback who played for the Canadian Football League's Edmonton Eskimos and the National Football League's Houston Oilers, Minnesota Vikings, Seattle Seahawks and Kansas City Chiefs. Following his retirement, Moon has become a well-known fantasy football fan. He and fellow QB Erik Kramer host a fantasy football sports show, "Ultimate Fantasy Football", during the season on Fox Sports Net.

He is the only player ever to be honored by both the Pro Football Hall of Fame and Canadian Football Hall of Fame. Moon is also the only African-American quarterback elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

This is not Moon's first brush with police officials. Moon married Felicia Fontenot Hendricks on March 8, 1981. Moon and Felicia Fontenot Hendricks Moon had four children together. They were married for 14 years when the marriage seemed to fall apart. He was acquitted in July 1995 of charges of assaulting her in an argument over credit cards and money. Felicia Fontenot Hendricks Moon declined to file charges, and begged prosecutors not to pursue the case. At the trial, she took the blame for the incident and stated that their son had called 911 to report the assault. Felicia Fontenot Hendricks Moon later filed for divorce after 19 years of marriage. She has since become an advocate for domestic abuse victims and their children.

At this time the name of Moon's attorney is not known. The DUI case will now go to district court, where Moon is expected to face charges.

You wont find a nicer human being . So he had a few drinks and got caught . Dose that make him a bad guy by no means . We all make mistakes and thats what he did . He didnt kill or rob any body but he will pay a price for his mistake. After all this guy has been through in his life , the obtacles he has over come and the acomplishments (read his bio) he deserves to have a few drinks . Next time warren take a limo home !
