Berry was in such films as Cat Woman, Monster's Ball, Die Another Day, and the X-Men movies. For Monster's Ball she won an Oscar for Best Actress, the first African-American woman to be given the honor. She is 41 years old and was recently on the cover of In Style magazine, hands on her pregnant belly. The baby was born in the morning at Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles, California. Mom and baby are both doing well, according the Berry's publicist. Compared to many celebrities, Berry kept this pregnancy fairly private and low-profile.
Berry is one of many high-profile celebrities to be starting or continuing to expand her family. Most recently, Minnie Driver announced her pregnancy on March 14th on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Melissa Joan Hart of Sabrina the Teenage Witch fame had a boy March 12. Matt Damon's wife Luciana are expecting their second child together, and Nocole Kidman and Jamie Lynn Spears have both stirred controversy with their pregnancies.
Kidman was rumored to have drank white wine during the Oscars, while Spears is sixteen years old and the star of a Nickelodeon kid's television show. Angelina Jolie is pregnant for the second time with Brad Pitt, the newest member of the brood with join adopted children Zahara, Pax, and Maddox, and Pitt and Jolie's first child Shiloh. Jessica Alba is also expectant, along with Fred Savage's wife Jennifer Stone, and the youngest of the Hanson brothers, Zac, is expecting with his wife (his older brothers have already started their families). Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, and Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale have all had children in the last few years as well.
Celebrity pregnancy seems to be in fashion these days. There is an entire website devoted to following celebrities who are having babies, CelebrityPregnancy.com.
Red carpet photos of women wearing "baby bump" revealing dresses are popular. Whether this fashion is stemmed from movie studios being more lenient with their actors (early studios actually owned their actors and actresses), or if celebrities are simply willing to be more public about their family lives, today's media is imbued with celebrity pregnancy stories.

Post a CommentIt's great Halle finally found someone to be happy with.
That's so sweet. She was on Oprah and was so excited to be expecting. I didn't know she had given birth. That has to be one gorgeous and much loved baby.
Excellent job here, and such good news for her
