Halle Berry may have appeared to be unlucky in love when she and long-term boyfriend Gabriel Aubry called it quits earlier this year. Rumors of the former couple possibly rekindling their romance circulated after being spotted together around the world. The rumors were instantly squashed by both sides. Berry's reps especially were very quick to end the rumor the minute it appeared in the media. Instead, these hot single celebrities who are the proud parents of the most gorgeous little girl born in Hollywood were merely co-parenting and keeping the peace. Both, agreed that they were better off as friends. For the sake of their lovely daughter Nahla Aubry, they also have managed to keep things responsibly friendly while at the same time platonic.

In 2006, Berry and Aubry met during a Versace photo shoot but ended their relationship three years later. The two were spotted in South Africa where Berry was on set for her latest film project. She offered Aubry the opportunity to tag along as babysitter and papa to their 2-year old daughter after butting heads over their custody arrangements. Aubry, fearing life without seeing his little angel for three entire months, opted to take time away from work and spend that time caring for their daughter while Halle worked on her film project. The time spent in South Africa seems to have mended the initial wounds of the split and paved the way for co-parenting to occur between the two with great ease and cooperation.

It's safe to say that, in spite of a falsely pressumed love match between Berry and an old friend just days after her split with Aubry, Berry is in fact embarking on a hot new romance with her Dark Tide costar Olivier Martinez. Since then, the new hot couple have been seen holding hands and even kissing publicly.
